Tour in Pokhara

Pokhara is the nice place for the visitor. Every year thousands of the domestic and foreiner people come in Pokhara. It has a many many important place as will as natural beauty.Pokhara enjoys a mild climata, clen air, snowcapped mountains reflected in a sheltered lake and enormous number of good value hotel and restaurants. Its relaxed atmosphare is pleasanty removed from the hectic bustle of kathmandu and the outright chaos where leisurely meals and short walks can easily fill several days.pokhara retains something of the laid-back,hedonistic style of that time, although this is increasingly sidelined by the Thamel-style development threatening to overwhelm the Lakeside area.

Only foothills separate Pokhara from the full height of the Himalaya. The massive peaks of Annapurna loom large, though it's the photogenic and much close Machhapuchhare, denying its mere 6997m,which dominates the skyline. The valley boasts three lakes;Rupa Tal and Begnas Tal are slightly to the east of town, while the third and largest,Phewa Tal,is the Focal point for Pokhara's tourist enclave.

Mountains
The wonderful Annapurna panorama forms a superb backdrop to Pokhara. You can see the mountains clearly from the lake, while from the other side of Phewa Tal,by Fish Tail lodge, you can actuall see them reflected twice in the often placid waters.Additionally, you can climb toSarankot or once of the other viewpoints around the Valley and enjoy a closer uninterrupted vied.See Around Pokhara later for details.
The incredible Annapurna massif in cludes the Lamjug himal.Hiunchuli,Varahashikhar, khangsar Kang,Tarke Kang and Gangapurna mountains but it is the five Annapurna I to IV plus Annapurna south, and the magnificent Machhapuchhare- that are best know.

Temples
Pokhara is not noted fro its temples, in fact there are very few of even minor note.
In Phewa Tal there's a small island with the duble-roofed Varahi Temple dedicated to Vishnu in his boar incarnation.while there's not a great deal to look at, it’s a pleasant spot to rest weary padding arms and observe the comings and goings of worshippers.

Seti River in Pokhara

Seti River
The Seti River flows right through Pokhara and in places it runs completely underground level.Seti means 'white' and the the water's milky colour comes from the soft limestont that the river cuts through.
DEVI FALLS
The Devi falls also known as patale Chango, Devin’s or David's fall, this waterfall is about 2km southwest of the airport on the main siddhartha Hwy, just before the Tashilling Tibetan Village.

Paragliding in Pokhara

Paragliding
If you feel the need to throw yourself off sarangkot and glide with the eagles.it is very intresting 6 : Sarangkot
Sarankot is the amall hill.it is 1592m from the sae lebal.the most popular short excursion from Pokhara. The walk can be a good, stroll to admire the mountain views, a leg stretcher before you start out on a longer trek or the first or last hours of one of the longer treks from Pokhara.

Lumbini

Lumbini

lumbini is believed to be the birthplace of Gautama Buddha.the founder of Buddhism.known as the buddha of the enlightened one. Fittingly,Lumbini is an example of the ephemeral nature of human endeavour.there is not much to see and it requires much imagination to conjur up the ghost of the past.Lumbini is not a Bethlehem or meccagim-jammed car park.no heavily armed soldirs and no hustlers. There is ,however a tacky souvenir bazzar near the car park. Even saffron-robed monks appear unable to resist the urge to take home a memento.and Ashokan pillar and Maya Devi Temple is the man attraction of the Lumbani.

Tansen

Palpa Tansen

Tansen is just off the Siddhartha Hwy,between Pokhara and Sunauli.HIs torically, it has enjoyed a strategic position on the trade and pilgirm route between the hills and the plains.
Tensen is still the administrative centre for a large region, but it sees few visitors, and is increasingly sidelined by the devlopment on the terai and at Pokhara.
The tawn sprawals over a steep ridge, and quite a few of the main streets are too steep for cars, which helps to keep some of the less pleasant aspects of the 21st century at bay.In the older sections of the town, attractive Newari buildings line cobbled streets.
Most of the surrounding countryside is dominated by Magars,But there are also Bahuns and Chhetris.Newars from the Majority in Tansen itself. They migrated from the Kathmandu Valley to take advantage of trade opportunities with India that opened up in the 19th century-traditional crafts and agriculture surpluses were trade for the products of the British industrial revolution, especially cotton fabrics.Tansen is still famous for metalware and dhaka, the hand-woven material that is made into topis(Nepali hats ).Amar Narayan Temple,Tensen durbar,Bhagwati Temple,Srinagar Danda it is really really nice place of the Tensan palpa.
